yeah right!
I went to a homeschool conference last weekend with my piano teacher and her two daughters. It was nice, we stayed in a double tree hotel (a nice hotel), got to go to a homeschool convention (aka shopping, and cute homeschool christain guys ), and we got to just have a fun weekend. ok ok, it was a joke, it wasn't all that great but it was fun. The first day we got there we took a train LA and then got stuck there for 3 hours. Luckily we had money and we were close to Chinatown. We walked around Chinatown and got some snacks (oooohhh i miss the food!) then went "souvenir" shopping. I forgot how people in the East bargain. Then we too a tram to Ontario. (yes an Ontario in Cali) We ended up waiting for a shuttle from the hotel to pick us up. We thought it would just take a few minutes...... we waited 3 hours in above 90 degree weather, oh yes and having forgotten our food on the tram. Erika and I made use of our time with my camera. Jesse climbed around and Terri kept calling the hotel after Erika got a heatstroke. (that was after the 1st hour). Finally we got into an airconditioned hotel. The first day we got there Terri was a volunteer. Come to find out she was taking the places of 2 people who had been rushed to the hospital the day before. The rest of the weekend we spent our days at the homeschool convention looking around, and our nights playing games in the hallways of the hotel. It was deffiently crazy, but fun. And I think we all just needed that chaotic time to re-align our lives. It was fun.
